Clear Compostable Sampling Pot 57ml (lid sold separately) - PLA

These eco-friendly plastics tasting bowls are made from PLA - a plastic resin made from corn starch. However, you would have to be an expert in plastics to tell the difference because these plastic glasses seem just like any other plastic glass. They are strong, clear and perfect for offering samples or small food portions. A biodegradable lid is available for this pot.

Although corn starch is a renewable resource (unlike oil based plastics), to get the full benefit from using PLA, these glasses must be composted in properly maintained facilities. Degradation will take between 60 and 180 days in such conditions. They will not degrade in a land fill site.
