White Compostable Single Walled Cup 120ml - Paper & PLA

Ideal for Espresso coffee. Most paper cups have either a thin plastic or wax lining to make them waterproof which means that they are not biodegradable and impossible to recycle. These 120ml cups are different because they are lined with a biodegradable plastic. This means that although they are not recyclable, they will fully biodegrade.

Usually, the biodegradable plastic (PLA) demands the high heat and humidity of a commercial compost facility to degrade but the lining on these cups is so thin, we would expect them to break down under domestic composting conditions. Unfortunately, biodegradable lids are not yet available for these cups.
