Champagne Cocktails for Christmas

Champagne Cocktails for Christmas

If you are looking to celebrate Christmas in style this year or just want to treat yourself to a bit of indulgence then try some of our favourite champagne cocktails. We had fun finding the ones we liked and have listed the recipes for you to try out.

Bellini Cocktail
This classic champagne cocktail was invented at Harry’s bar in 1934. It takes the edge of the champagne and creates a fantastic smooth fruity flavour.

2 ounces of peach juice or peach puree
4 ounces of champagne

Rose Prosecco Cocktai
Prosecco has become extremely popular in the last few years, as a cheaper alternative to champagne why not treat your friends to a couple of bottles with a difference by adding in a touch of rose syrup. Bring a touch of elegance to the party and serve the cocktail in an old school glass.

Trickle in rose syrup to freshly poured glass of Prosecco

Ginger Champagne cocktail
A cocktail with a punch! This cocktail combines fiery ginger with vodka and champagne to awaken all your senses! The cocktail needs to be served in a larger than average glass to allow for ice so that it is served perfectly chilled. One of 120ml champagne flutes will be perfect!

3 strips of ginger
2 shots of vodka
Ice cubes
Fill rest of glass with champagne

Elderflower Champagne
If you are looking for a change, add some elderflower cordial to you Champagne, making a delicious tasting cocktail. If you’re looking for something slightly stronger, add in a shot of gin. Serve the champagne cocktail in a short tumbler (such as the link below) and decorate with a sprig of basil or mint.

1 tsp elderflower cordial per glass of champagne
