Non-Alcoholic Cocktails prefect for a Christmas or New Year celebration

If you don’t drink alcohol there is no reason you should miss out on the fun of mixing, making and drinking great tasting cocktails, or some times known as mocktails. We have tried loads in order share our favourites with you.

Virgin Mary
It’s a classic, there are many myths of when and who created the drink and there is a long list of variations. But if your taste buds like spicy, this is the non-alcoholic drink for you. Serve the mocktail in a tall glass, such as our hi ball plastic glass and slowly sip!

Ingredients:
200ml/7fl oz tomato juice
2 finely chopped spring onions
1lemon juiced
½ tsp Tabasco sauce
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
55g/2oz ice cubes
1 tbsp chives chopped

Preparation method:
In a blender, mix the tomato juice, spring onions, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and ice cubes. Blend for two minutes, or until smooth.
Pour into a tall glass and garnish with chopped chives.

Non-Alcoholic Sangria
The perfect party punch that doesn’t pack a punch! We love this recipe as it tastes so authentic but it’s alcohol free. Be warned there is quite bit of preparation involved, but it’s worth the effort to enjoy all that tasty fruit. As this recipe serves 8 we recommend serving from a large pitcher such as our acrylic jug:

Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
2 black tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose-leaf tea in an infuser)
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 orange, sliced into thin rounds
1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
1 lime, sliced into thin rounds
1 apple, cored and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
3 cups carbonated water.

Preparation method:
Pour boiling water over tea bags and cinnamon sticks and steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags and stir in sugar to dissolve.
In a large pitcher, combine tea, cinnamon sticks, pomegranate juice, orange juice, orange, lemon, lime, and apple. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and preferably overnight.
Just before serving, stir in carbonated water. Serve in glasses over ice.

Virgin Grapefruit Mojito:
This delightful tasting cocktail looks as fantastic as it tastes. Everyone at the party will want to try this, so stock up on your mint leaves and glasses! Best served in a short tumbler, we have plenty in our range for you to use:

Ingredients:
1/4 ruby or pink grapefruit, cut into small chunks and seeds removed
2 tbs. honey
12 fresh mint leaves, roughly torn
1/2 cup pink grapefruit soda or flavored mineral water, plus more as needed
mint sprigs, for garnish

Preparation method:
Put the grapefruit pieces, honey and mint in a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler, smash the fruit until the juice is released. Add one cup of small ice cubes to the shaker with the half a cup of soda; attach the lid and shake furiously until combined. Divide between two tumbler glasses, add more ice if desired, and top off with additional soda. Stir, garnish with mint sprigs and serve.

Classic Lemonade
A crowd pleaser very time, make this classic refreshing drink for everyone to share at a brunch or lunch party. When serving the drink keep it simple and pour into a tall tumbler glass and let the tasty cocktail do all the hard work!

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
6 large lemons, seeded and juiced

Preparation method:

Bring the sugar and 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir occasionally until sugar dissolves completely. Cool.
Stir the syrup, unstrained lemon juice, and 4 cups of cold water together in a large pitcher.
Chill. Serve over ice.
